STUDY DAY: ‘Impressionism in Music and the Arts’

PETER MEDHURST with JEREMY LIMB (piano)

Saturday 21 July 7.30pm

2024 marks the 150th Anniversary of ‘Impressionism’, a term first heard in Paris in 1874 inspired by an exhibition including Monet’s ‘Impression, soleil levant’. What began with painting soon spread to other arts including music. This is the context for the latest in Peter Medhurst’s highly regarded Study Days. The pianist, Jeremy Limb, will once again provide musical illustration.

Tickets £30.00 (to include tea or coffee from 10.30am)
