We are delighted to be featuring Laura van der Heijden,
BBC Young Musician of the Year, a title she won in 2012
at the age of 15. The main work in this recital is the last
important composition published in Chopin’s lifetime.

Tom Poster and Alec Frank-Gemmill have performed
separately in recitals at the Festival to great acclaim. This
year they come together with a third talented artist,
violinist Mathilde Milwidsky, who was winner of the
prestigious Royal Over-Seas League competition in 2017.

Violin, bandoneon, piano, double bass

Winners last year of the Orlando International Chamber
Ensemble competition and finalists in this year’s Royal
Over-Seas League competition, the Quartet marks the
