Evenings of chamber music and other concerts performed by artists of international reputation in the fine Garden Room of Great Comp house. Outside, the renowned seven-acre garden in its summer splendour surrounding the 17th century house. This is the uniquely appealing setting for the Great Comp Music Festival – a mini-Glyndebourne of chamber music.
CONCERT EVENINGS
On concert evenings Festival-goers enjoy the special privilege of free entrance to Great Comp Garden from 5.30pm onwards, bringing a picnic if they wish.
Drinks and a variety of delicious, locally made ice-creams are available for half an hour before the concerts and during the interval in the reception area of the Stable Theatre. After the concert tea and coffee are served in the reception area free of charge to those who would like to stay on and meet the artists.
