The Isla Quartet

Finalists in this year’s prestigious Royal Over-Seas League competition, the Quartet have won special acclaim for their performance of Haydn’s string quartets, and it is the fourth of his Opus 20 set which completes the first half of their concert. They follow it with Beethoven’s third ‘Razumovsky’ quartet, one of his most celebrated and well-known for the headlong energy of its finale.
