The Coull Quartet with some audience members

WELCOME

An evening of chamber music performed by artists of international reputation in an intimate, comfortable converted stable; outside a seven-acre garden in its summer splendour surrounding a 17th century manor house. This is the uniquely appealing setting for the Great Comp Music Festival – a mini-Glyndebourne of chamber music.

‘The Festival will be back this year after two years’ absence. There is still some uncertainty to take account of so the Festival will be shorter than usual. Programme details here.

CONCERT EVENINGS

On concert evenings Festival-goers enjoy the special privilege of free entrance to Great Comp Garden from 6.00pm onwards, bringing a picnic if they wish.

Drinks and a variety of delicious, locally made ice-creams are available for half an hour before the concerts and during the interval. After the concert tea and coffee are served in the reception area free of charge to those who would like to stay on and meet the artists.
